The Public Employees Relations Commission hereby gives notice: On April 30, 2020, the Public Employees Relations Commission issued a final order in Case No. MS-2020-009 granting an emergency petition for variance from Florida Administrative Code Rule 60CC-4.002 filed by Renee Wiley, Mark Holt, Charlotte FEA, and Charlotte County Support Personnel. The variance allows the Petitioners to conduct all aspects of a ratification election electronically through June 5, 2020. The Public Employees Relations Commission determined that the Petitioners had demonstrated an emergency existed and that they would suffer a substantial hardship if the variance was not granted. The petition was filed on April 21, 2020, and the notice of receipt of the petition was published on April 24, 2020, on the Commission’s website and in Volume 46, Number 81 F.A.R. No comments were received to the petition.
