65C-15.015Policies and Practices
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 04, 2014, the Department of Children and Families, received a petition for waiver of subsection 65C-15.017(3), Florida Administrative Code, from His House Children’s Home and Silvia Smith-Torres. Subsection 65c-15.017(1), F.A.C., states the agency director shall be responsible for the general management and administration of the agency in accordance with the licensing requirements and the policies of the governing body and shall have a master’s degree in social work or a related area of study from an accredited college or university and at least two years’ experience in human services or child welfare programs. A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related area of study from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in human services or child welfare programs may be substituted. A doctorate degree in social work or a related area of study may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Agency directors continuously employed before the effective date this rule becomes law will be considered to have met these educational requirements
