The Sarasota County Public Hospital Board, Sarasota Memorial Hospital announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, May 13, 2009, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

PLACE: Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Main Campus, Waldemere Bed Tower, Auditorium, Sarasota, FL

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: All responses to the Request for Statements of Qualifications for the Medical Arts Medical Office Building project are due to be submitted no later that 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2009, as originally advertised. However, the responses will not be opened at that time and the Hospital will subsequently hold a public information sharing meeting for all respondents, in an open forum format. Supplemental information packages will be distributed to all respondents who attend the meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital main campus in the Waldemere Bed Tower Auditorium, First Floor, Main Building. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end no later than 5:00 p.m. Two weeks will be allowed to revise original submittals. Final addenda to previously-submitted Statements of Qualifications will be due no later than 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Attendance at the information sharing meeting is not mandatory for respondents. The public meeting for the selection of general contractors will be held in Waldemere Bed Tower, Auditorium, Wednesday June 3, 2009, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon. The public meeting for the selection of the professional design team will be held in the Waldemere Bed Tower, Auditorium, Wednesday, June 3, 2009, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Late submittals will not be opened and will be returned to the respondent. The Hospital reserves the right to reject any or all submittals and to discontinue the selection process at any time.
