60FF-5.002: Rural County Grants

The Department of Management Services, E 911 Board hereby gives notice that it has received a petition, filed on April 28, 2009, from Hendry County seeking a waiver or variance of Rule 60FF-5.002, F.A.C., with respect to the rule allowing grant funding for only two PSAPs in each county and the unique situation of having an Indian Reservation in the county that operates independently of the County. Comments on this petition should be filed with the E911Board, 4030 Esplanade Way, Suite 235M, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0950, within 14 days of publication of this notice.
