    Franchise Motor Vehicle Dealer in a County of Less

    than 300,000 Population

    Pursuant to Section 320.642, Florida Statutes, notice is given that Harley Davidson Motor Company Operations, Inc., intends to allow the establishment of Adamec Cycle Sales Co., Inc., d/b/a Adamec Harley-Davidson of Jacksonville as a dealership for the sale and service of Harley-Davidson motorcycles (line-make HD) legal description at State Road 16, St. Augustine, (St Johns County), Florida, 32084, ST. AUGUSTINE CENTRE parcel c (harley) (outparcels 7, 8 & 9)

    A part of sections 5 and 6, township 7 south, range 29 east, St. Johns county, Florida, more particularly described as follows:  for a point of reference, commence at the northwest corner of said section 5; thence south 02°02°27" east along the west line of said section, a distance of 2214.87 feet to a point on the southeasterly right-of-way line of outlet centre drive (a 90 foot private right-of-way as now established) and the point of beginning; thence north 56°36'15" east along said right-of-way line, a distance of 328.05 feet; thence south 01°58'52" west, a distance of 737.86 feet to a point on the northeasterly right-of-way line of belz outlet boulevard (a 110 foot private right-of-way as now established); thence north 55°37'59" west along said right-of-way, a distance of 243.60 feet to the point of curvature of a curve, concave northeasterly, having a radius of 1095.00 feet; thence northwesterly along said right-of-way line and along the arc of said curve, an arc distance of 346.72 feet, said arc being subtended by a chord bearing of north 46°33'43" west and a chord distance of 345.28 feet to a point on said curve; thence north 10°04'47" east along said right-of-way line, a distance of 55.04 feet to a point on the southeasterly right-of-way line of said outlet centre drive; thence north 56°36'15" east along said right-of-way line, a distance of 232.10 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 4.415 acres more or less. on or after January 15, 2019.

    The name and address of the dealer operator(s) and principal investor(s) of Adamec Cycle Sales Co., Inc., d/b/a Adamec Harley-Davidson of Jacksonville are dealer operator(s): Mark Adamec, 8909 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32256-7507, principal investor(s): Chris Adamec, 8909 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32256-7507, Helen Adamec, 8909 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32256-7507.

    The notice indicates intent to establish the new point location in a county of less than 300,000 population, according to the latest population estimates of the University of Florida, Bureau of Economic and Business Research.

    Certain dealerships of the same line-make may have standing, pursuant to Section 320.642, Florida Statutes, to file a petition or complaint protesting the application.

    Written petitions or complaints must be received by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles within 30 days of the date of publication of this notice and must be submitted to: Jaime Williams, Administrator, Dealer License Section, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Room A-312, MS65, Neil Kirkman Building, 2900 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0635.

    A copy of such petition or complaint must also be sent by US Mail to: Melissa Dooley, Harley Davidson Motor Company Operations, Inc., 3700 West Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53208.

    If no petitions or complaints are received within 30 days of the date of publication, a final order will be issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles approving the establishment of the dealership, subject to the applicants compliance with the provisions of Chapter 320, Florida Statutes.
