    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Blygold Florida, Inc. on March 6, 2013. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition.

    The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 39, No. 65, of the April 3, 2013, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought the Board’s interpretation of 489.105(a), Florida Statutes. Petitioner asks whether the company’s general contractor’s license is sufficient to perform sponge blasting and the application of a special coating on centrifugal chillers of air conditioning units after they have been disassembled by a mechanical contractor. The Construction Industry Licensing Board considered the Petition at its meeting held on May 10, 2013, in Jacksonville, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on May 31, 2013, finds that the Petitioner can perform the described services as long as it subcontracts to a mechanical contractor for the assembly or disassembly of the unit.
