    The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATES AND TIMES: June 18, 2019, 9:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. and June 19, 2019, 1:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m.

    PLACE: June 18, 2019 at Charlotte Community Foundation, 227 Sullivan Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 AND June 19, 2019 at Mid-County Regional Library, 2050 Forrest Nelson Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33952

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting meetings for invited stakeholders to participate in small-group discussions to begin the formulation of a corridor vision for US 41 in Charlotte County. The intent behind this effort is to formulate a Corridor Vision Plan that will be reflective of where the community would like to be and how FDOT, as a partner, can better understand the community's needs. The project team will provide a brief overview of the purpose of the project, discuss previous and current related efforts in the area, and lead discussions to gather input on the future vision for the corridor. This discussion is designed to gather and analyze input from various local and regional entities. FDOT will host a larger meeting later this year that will target the public.

    The same content will be provided at each meeting. More than one meeting is being offered to accommodate diverse schedules.

    The public is invited to attend the meeting as observers.
