NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 26, 2017, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, received a petition for a variance from portions of the Volusia County manatee protection rule, Rule 68C-22.012(3)(a)7, Florida Administrative Code, that establish motorized boat Slow Speed zones in the Halifax River area. The petition was submitted by Halifax Rowing Association. Comments regarding the petition will be accepted for 14 days from the date of publication of this notice.
