    FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE

    CHARLOTTE COUNTY

    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that Charlotte County’s project to upgrade the utilities in the East and West Spring Lake area by installing a new water main is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The estimated construction cost for the water main is $2,600,000. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
