    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, June 20, 2019, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Clermont Arts & Recreation Center, 3700 S. Highway 27, Clermont, FL 34711

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Lake County will host an Alternative Concepts Public Workshop for the CR 455 Extension Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The study is focusing on proposed transportation improvements on new alignment in southeast Lake County from Schofield Road to Hartwood Marsh Road. The project is approximately 4.7 miles in length. This meeting provides interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the social, economic, and environmental impacts of the proposed CR 455 Extension.

    The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation. A project video will run continuously throughout the meeting and participants may review project information and discuss the project with the study team at any time throughout the workshop. At least two County Commissioners, Lake County representatives, and study team members will be available to answer attendees’ questions. The meeting displays will be posted on the study website (www.cr455extensionstudy.com) within a week after the meeting.

    The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by Lake County pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 as executed by FHWA and FDOT.
