    6A-1.094224Uniform Assessment Calendar

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To revise the uniform assessment calendar template that is incorporated in this Rule in response to changes made during the 2022 Legislative session. The amendment will add “progress monitoring” to the list of terms defined in the template, in accordance with s. 1008.22(7)(i), Florida Statutes (F.S.), as amended during the 2022 Legislative session. The amendment will also revise the total testing time table included in the template to allow districts to provide to the Department, by grade level, the range and median number of minutes per school year, including as a percentage of net instructional time, students in prekindergarten through grade 5 spend on district-required assessments and coordinated screening and progress monitoring and state-required assessments and coordinated screening and progress monitoring, to allow the Department to collect the information required by Senate Bill 2524 (2022).
