NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Financial Regulation has received a petition for declaratory statement from Omni Financial Management, Inc. on June 12, 2015. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 516, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner’s proposed business activity of originating, servicing and collecting loans (from eligible consumers) at interest rates of 4-18% per annum requires licensure under Florida’s Consumer Finance Laws, Chapter 516, Florida Statutes.
