Social Security Alternative Retirement Income Security Program for OPS Employees
The State of Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Treasury is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek Responses for qualified vendors (“Respondents”) interested in providing investment, administration, and record keeping services for the alternative retirement income security program (FICA Alternative Program) established pursuant to Section 110.1315, Florida Statutes, in accordance with Section 3121(b)(7)(F) of the Internal Revenue Code for the States eligible temporary, part-time, and seasonal employees of the State who are compensated from appropriations for Other Personal Services (the Program).

The Department reserves the right to issue amendments, addenda, and changes to the timeline and specifically to any public meeting identified within the solicitation. The Department will post notice of any changes regarding this solicitation or additional meetings within the Vendor Bid System (VBS) in accordance with Section 287.042(3), Florida Statutes, and will not re-advertise the notice in the Florida Administrative Register (FAR).
