NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 9, 2014, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for LeCiel Condo. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 2.2.1, ASME A17.1. Section 101.2a and 2.7.1.2 as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code, that requires upgrading the elevators enclosures, equipment permitted in machinery and control spaces and non-fire-resistive construction which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
