    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Midway Road/County Road (CR) 712 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study, from Glades Cut Off Road to Selvitz Road, in St. Lucie County.

    The purpose of the study is to evaluate the need to provide additional capacity to meet existing and future needs; to allow opportunities for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit facilities; to improve freight movement; and to enhance emergency evacuation. The purpose of this workshop is to present the alternatives that have been developed to meet the project need; provide an opportunity to discuss the social, environmental, and economic effects of the various alternatives; and obtain input from local officials, agencies and stakeholders. The meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. as an informal open-house. A presentation will play on a continuous loop throughout the meeting. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss the study, ask questions, and provide comments on the potential improvements. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
