NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Financial Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Speedy Green, LLC (SG), (Second Amended Petition) on June 16, 2016. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 516, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

1) Original Petition submitted March 9, 2016 (Withdrawn April 26, 2016) 2) Amended Petition submitted April 26, 2016 (Withdrawn June 16, 2016). 3) Second Amended Petition submitted June 16, 2016. The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner's proposed business activities (of providing small loans to employees of companies who wish to provide their employees access to credit through SG’s services) fall within Florida’s Consumer Finance licensing statute Chapter 516, Florida Statutes, specifically, that the business model described in the Petition is in compliance with the Consumer Finance Act - Sections 516.17 and 516.26.
