NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Office of Financial Regulation has declined to rule on the petition for declaratory statement filed by Wirex USA Inc. on April 18, 2019. The following is a summary of the agency's declination of the petition:

On June 14, 2019, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation issued a Final Order on Petition for Declaratory Statement. The Petition filed by Wirex USA Inc. is DENIED. Petitioner asks whether it will be subject to Chapter 560, Florida Statutes, in conducting its proposed business activities. Petitioner fails to provide complete information regarding ownership of accounts and the utilization of U.S. Dollar prepaid debit cards described in the Petition. The facts provided in the Petition are inadequate for the Office to make a determination of whether Petitioner's proposed activities would require a money services business license. ******The original petition was published April 23, 2019 in the Florida Administrative Register Volume 45, Number 79.
