NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 8, 2020, the Board of Accountancy, received a petition for variance or waiver filed by Orlando Fernandez, Jr., CPA. Petitioner seeks a variance or waiver of Rule 61H1-31.003, F.A.C., which states that for individual active and inactive status licenses, the biennial renewal fee provided for in Section 473.305, F.S., shall be $100.00, with the exception that for the 2018 and 2019 renewal periods, the fee shall be $90.00. A special fee of $5.00 per licensee shall be imposed upon initial licensure and at each renewal to fund efforts to combat unlicensed activity. Petitioner also seeks a variance or waiver of Rule 61H1-31.004, F.A.C., which requires that a delinquent status licensee shall pay a delinquency fee of $25.00 when the licensee applies for active or inactive status.
