    St. Johns River Water Management District

    The Central Florida Water Initiative (CFWI) is a collaborative effort for water resource planning, development and management among the Florida Department of Environmental Protection; the St. Johns River, South Florida and Southwest Florida water management districts; the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; and water supply utilities. The CFWI area includes Seminole, Orange, Osceola and Polk counties and southern Lake County. The CFWI announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Monday, June 29, 2015, 4:00 p.m.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The above-mentioned water management districts are holding a public meeting to provide information about and receive comments on the draft 2035 Water Resources Protection and Water Supply Strategies Plan (Solutions Plan) and minor changes to the draft 2015 Regional Water Supply Plan. The focus of the meeting will be to provide information to, and hear feedback from, Jacksonville stakeholders. NOTE: One or more of the Governing Board members from each of the water management districts mentioned above and one or more of the CFWI Steering Committee members may attend and participate in the meeting.
