6A-10.0315Common Placement Testing and Instruction
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To add interim standard scores and effective dates for the Next-generation ACCUPLACER exam in the subject areas of 1) reading, 2) writing and 3) quantitative reasoning, algebra and statistics. College Board anticipates the Classic ACCUPLACER will no longer be an available assessment option after January 2020 as it has been replaced by the Next-generation ACCUPLACER. Including Next-generation ACCUPLACER standard scores provides more opportunities for students to demonstrate readiness for college-level work.
