    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Division of Insurance Agent and Agency Services has received the petition for declaratory statement from Winooski, LLC. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Section 626.112, Florida Statutes and chapter 626, Florida Statutes as it applies to the petitioner.

    The “DealerPolicy Marketplace” proposal involves referral agreements between automobile dealers and licensed insurance producers. As part of the “DealerPolicy Marketplace” proposal, the automobile dealers are not permitted to discuss insurance products and do not receive referral fees that are dependent on the actual binding of coverage of any insurance policies.
