PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule development is to update the Postsecondary Industry Certification Funding List. The requirement for the adoption by the State Board of Education was created in Chapter 2013-27, Laws of Florida. The effect of this rule is to update the postsecondary funding list for the implementation of performance funding for districts and colleges as specified in Sections 1011.80 and 1011.81, Florida Statutes. From this approved list, the Chancellors of the Division of Career and Adult Education and the Florida College System will identify industry certifications eligible for funding the areas targeted in the General Appropriations Act.
