    The Board of Psychology hereby gives notice:

    Of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on April 3, 2014, by Sherman Slone. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 40, No. 74, of the April 16, 2014, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of Rule 64B19-13.003, F.A.C., in regard to continuing psychological credit for home study The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on April 25, 2014.

    Petitioner has established that the purpose of the underlying statute, Section 490.005, Florida Statutes, would be met were the Petitioner to be granted a variance from the rule.

    Petitioner has further established that the Boards application of Rule 64B19-11.005, Florida Administrative Code, to the Petitioner’s circumstances would violate the principles of fairness or would impose a substantial hardship.

    The Board’s Order, filed on May 6, 2014, granted the petition for waiver or variance from Rule 64B19-13.003, Florida Administrative Code.
