    FLORIDA FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT

    DW53200 POLK REGIONAL WATER COOPERATIVE (PRWC)

     

    The Department of Environmental Protection has determined that the Polk Regional Water Cooperative (PRWC) proposed project for a new drinking water system in Polk County is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The project includes the construction of the Southeast Wellfield and Water Production Facility to include reverse osmosis water treatment and associated equipment, water wells, injection wells, and water transmission mains. The project is estimated to cost a total of $288 million.
