65C-22.001General Requirements
The Department of Children and Families hereby gives notice: An order was issued disposing of the petition for variance from subparagraph 65C-22.001(2)(a)1., Florida Administrative Code, from A Universal Learning Center. The Notice of Variances and Waivers was published on April 8, 2024, in volume 50, number 69 of the Florida Administrative Register. Subparagraph 65C-22.001(2)(a)1. requires an applicant seeking licensure as an urban child care facility to, prior to submitting an application for licensure, obtain written documentation from the local governing body that confirms the geographical area has been declared urban.
The petition for variance was granted because Petitioner demonstrated a substantial hardship and showed that the underlying purpose of the statute will likely be achieved.
