    64B13-4.001Examination Requirements

    The Board of Optometry hereby gives notice: Elliot R. Roth, OD, filed a Petition for Waiver on January 21, 2015, published January 27, 2015, in Vol. 41, No. 17, of the Florida Administrative Register, regarding Rule 64B13-4.001, F.A.C., which requires that passing scores on Part I, Part II, and Part III of the licensure examination be obtained within the 7-year period immediately preceding application to take Part IV of the licensure examination. The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed telephonic, public meeting held on February 27, 2015.

    The Board’s Order, filed March 11, 2015, dismissed the Petition, finding that Petitioner's request as submitted does not satisfy the requirements of a Petition for Waiver and Variance as stated in §120.542, F.S., and Rule 28-104, F.A.C.
