NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 31, 2023, the Department of Children and Families, received a petition for waiver of subsection 65E-4.016(1), Florida Administrative Code, from Brighten Bay. Subsection 65E-4.016(1), states, in pertinent part, that residential treatment facilities that primarily provide treatment for eating disorders, weight loss programs, substance abuse or other specialty psychiatric treatment program are excluded from licensure under this rule.
