    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: July 17, 2013, 6 30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Edison State College - Building U, Room 102; 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers, FL 33919.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of these public meetings is to review the Commission's plans for establishing Deer Management Units (DMUs). The focus of these meetings will be the proposed DMU for Zone A of South Florida. The meeting will begin with a presentation by Commission staff to share information about the unique challenges of managing deer in Florida and to explain the purposes of establishing DMUs. The remainder of the meeting will allow attendees to share their questions and comments about deer management preferences for Zone A. Comments will be considered and utilized to refine the plans for deer management in Florida.
