PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose and effect of the proposed rule will be to implement provisions of the Florida Statutes pertaining to the welfare of racing animals.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The proposed rule addresses the health, safety, and welfare of racing animals in accordance with the relevant provisions of Chapter 550, F.S., and the rules of the division promulgated thereunder.
