NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Financial Regulation has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Goldman Sachs Bank USA (GS Bank) on May 20, 2016. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:

The petition sought a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner’s proposed business activities (of offering lending activities to Florida residents from locations outside of Florida, specifically, whether GS Bank is exempt from the Florida Consumer Finance Act) (Fla. Stat. §§ 516.001 et seq). On June 21, 2016, the Office issued a Final Order. Petitioner, GOLDMAN SACHS BANK USA is exempt from the licensing requirements and other provisions of the Florida Consumer Finance Act.
