NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 16, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for The Jewel located in Sarasota, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of Sections 3007.4.1 and 3007.4.2, Florida Building Code, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code, because the 150 square foot requirement would pose a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 5 days of the publication of this notice with Michelle Comingore, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399 (VW2016-142).
