NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 17, 2016, the Construction Industry Licensing Board received a Petition for Declaratory Statement from Daniel Arguelles. The petition seeks the Board’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 489.105(3), F.S., as it applies to contractors and roofers installing a hybrid solar roof and whether a Division I contractor or roofing contractor are qualified to install a Pex tubing array beneath hybrid metal pans with only a minor plumbing permit, and whether the same contractors can install Pex service lines within hybrid solar thermal roofing for hot water and/or pool heating for “future use” without being obligated to connect the lines at that time. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
