NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY
FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTIFICATION (FCEN)
Charlotte County
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that Charlotte County's project involving replacement of approximately 9,080 feet of 4-10 inch water mains in the Parkside Community Redevelopment Area and the installation of Fixed Base Advanced Meter Infrastructure system in the mid and western areas of the County is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $13,000,000. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
