    The Harris Chain of Lakes Restoration Council announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Friday, July 12, 2019, 9:00 a.m.

    PLACE: Apopka Field Station- The address is 25633 County Road 448A Mount Dora, FL 32757.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This will be a tour of The lake Apopka North Shore. The tour agenda is listed below:

    1. Meet at the Apopka Field Station at 9:00 a.m. The address is 25633 County Road 448A Mount Dora, FL 32757

    2. Enter the Duda property and discuss the new boat ramp and rough fish landing facility.

    3. Travel to West Marsh F&G cells where sediments have been stored OR go to Marsh Flow-Way, a good place to see relative elevation of water on LANS prior to being lifted back to lake elevation at pump station (per Chairman Grow, we will decide which option to take when we get to that point).

    4. Return to the Duda property and visit the new pump station with alum treatment.

    5. Travel to the Lake Level Canal and discuss alum floc capture in the sand farm pond.

    6. Go south to site for new pump station to connect Duda and phases east of Lake Level Canal.

    7. Continue south to perimeter levee to see water level difference between the lake and LANS.

    8. Return north to Unit 1 pump and exit via Wildlife Drive exit and return to the Apopka Field Station at approximately 12:00 Noon
