FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
Miami-Dade County
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that Miami-Dade County’s project involving construction of a deep injection well system at the Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant will not adversely affect the environment. The total estimated construction cost is $39,000,000. The project may qualify for a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
