The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the FGUA’s project involving the acquisition of a water and wastewater system currently owned by Flagler County, which include the Beverly Beach, Eagle Lakes, and Plantation Bay utilities, is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The estimated cost for the project is $16.4 million. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water and Clean Water SRF loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
