NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 24, 2019, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for OCEAN WAY CONDOMINIUMS at 1912 Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of Rule 101.2b, ASME A17.1b, 1998 edition, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that states only equipment required for the operation of the elevator be located in the machine room which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
