NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 16, 2020, the Department of Education, received a petition for variance from subsection 6A-2.0040(7), F.A.C., Sanitation Standards in K-12 Private Schools. The petition requests a long-term variance permitting the school to provide drinking water for students in a format other than the slant jet type drinking fountains prescribed by rule. The petitioner is Flagler Beach Montessori School, located in Bunnell, Florida.
