PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The substantial rewrite to 6A-10.0342 will establish a process and procedure for the implentation of S.1003.491(5), Florida Statutes, that requires the Commissioner of Education to conduct an annual review of K-12 and postsecondary career and technical education offerings. Rule amendments will address required program metrics, areas of review, and notice procedures and will align the rule to statutory language, including phasing out programs that do not meet specified criteria.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: This rule will address the annual review of K-12 and postsecondary career and technical education programs.
