    64B2-13.007Continuing Education Requirements During Initial Licensure Period

    The Board of Chiropractic Medicine hereby gives notice: of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on April 9, 2018, by Adam Klotzek, D.C. The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published in Vol. 44, No. 73, of the April 13, 2018, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner requested a variance from the board meeting attendance requirement of subsection 64B2-13.007(1), F.A.C., and to be allowed to attend the August 24, 2018, meeting in satisfaction of the requirement. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on May 18, 2018, in Kissimmee, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on June 13, 2017, granted the Petition for Variance or Waiver because the petition was in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 120.542, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 28-104, Florida Administrative Code. Petitioner’s attendance at the August 24, 2018 meeting is accepted in satisfaction of rule’s board meeting attendance requirement.
