    NOTICE OF CHANGE

    Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 44 No. 91, May 9, 2018 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

    The Rules Committee of the Board of Medicine discussed the proposed rule amendment at its meeting held on June 7, 2018, in Tampa, Florida, and recommended that a change be made to the rule to more accurately reflect the statutory language set forth in Section 456.076, F.S.  The Board, at its meeting held on June 8, 2018, voted to accept the recommendation of the Rules Committee to change the rule. The change is as follows:

    64B8-8.001 Disciplinary Guidelines.

    (1) through (6) No change.

    (7) When imposing a penalty or a condition of licensure that requires an impaired, or potentially impaired, licensee to demonstrate that he or she is able to practice with reasonable skill and safety, the licensee must undergo an evaluation conducted under the auspices of the Department of Health approved consultant impaired practitioner program that has been retained to provide the Board services pursuant to Section 456.076, Florida Statutes.

    (8) No change.
