14-10.004Outdoor Advertising Permit Applications, Criteria, and Permit Issuance

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 27, 2018, the Florida Department of Transportation, received a petition for a variance from paragraph 14-10.004(7)(d), F.A.C., which directs that no sign permit shall be issued for a sign to be located outside the boundaries of an incorporated municipality and within 500 feet of an interchange, intersection at grade, or rest area on the interstate. The request from Carter-Pritchett Advertising, Inc., is a result of the denial of two permit applications to relocate existing signs due to expansion of the interstate.
