59G-6.045: Payment Methodology for Services in Facilities Not Publicly Owned and Publicly Operated (Facilities Formerly Known as ICF/DD Facilities)
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the amendment to Rule 59G-6.045, F.A.C., is to incorporate by reference the Title XIX Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded and Developmentally Disabled Reimbursement Plan for Facilities not Publicly Owned and not Publicly Operated (Formerly Known as ICF-MR/DD Facilities) (the Plan), effective July 1, 2012. The rule will update the Plan to reflect changes authorized in House Bill 5001, 2012-13 General Appropriations Act, Specific Appropriation 223, which include a buy back for ICF facilities for reimbursement rate cuts imposed on or after October 1, 2008, and a new recurring methodology to be utilized by the Agency. References to the Bureau of Medicaid Program Analysis will be changed to the Bureau of Medicaid Program Finance.
