DESIGN, BUILD AND INSTALL LIGHTED ROADSIDE MONUMENT SIGNS
AT THE GAINESVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT
The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified Design/Build Firms to design, construct, and install two, internally and externally illuminated roadside monument signs at separate entrances to the commercial terminal building at the Gainesville Regional Airport.
The selected firm shall provide for all design, fabrication, shipping and incidentals, installation, including but not limited to; site work, construction of foundations, electrical work, maintenance of traffic (MOT), and other work necessary to provide two complete lighted signs as required herein. The Design/Build Firm shall also provide all engineering and required drawings and documentation sufficient for obtaining the required construction and sign installation permits from the City of Gainesville and other government entities having jurisdiction, as required.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held on July 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Passenger Terminal, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32609. A site visit of the project areas will be conducted as part of the pre-proposal conference.
Proposals must be signed by an authorized official, enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked: “Project No. 16-004 DESIGN, BUILD AND INSTALL LIGHTED ROADSIDE MONUMENT SIGNS” and mailed or delivered to the Authority’s Administrative Office, Gainesville Regional Airport, Attn: Chief Executive Officer, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, Florida 32609.
Proposals are due at 4:00 p.m. August 10, 2016. Proposals WILL NOT be publically opened at this time. The official clock is located in the Authority's Administrative Office. Proposals received after 4:00 p.m., August 10, 2016 will not be considered. Proposer must submit one original bid package, clearly marked “Original” and two copies.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to participate. The contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
GACRAA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this Request for Proposals as determined to be in the best interest of the Airport.
