GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: A TMDL for the Indian River Lagoon was adopted in March 2009. The TMDL requires reductions in the loadings of total nitrogen and total phosphorus sufficient to meet seagrass depth targets. Loading reductions are met through projects implemented by stakeholders. The purpose of these meetings is to provide a forum for discussion by stakeholders of the methodology for evaluation of seagrass success and the status of submitted projects. The proposed Banana River Lagoon allocation approach will be discussed at the Banana River Lagoon Project Zone meeting.
