NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 30, 2014, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, received a petition for waiver from PC Redevelopment Partners, Ltd., requesting a waiver from the 2011 Universal Application Instructions, Housing Credit Program, Part III, Section B(4)(a)(i) in which the petitioner seeks to waive the requirement to provide heat pumps in all units located in the development. The petitioner requests a waiver of these instructions in order to allow for the use of 16 SEER with electric heat strips (the “Alternative HVAC”) in lieu of a heat pump (the “Required Pump”) in all three bedroom units in the development.

The Petition has also been posted on Florida Housing’s website at floridahousing.org. Florida Housing will accept comments concerning the Petition for 14 days from the date of publication of this notice.
