FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
City of Tampa
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Tampa's project to install approximately 7,000 linear feet of 48-inch water main to deliver potable water from the David L. Tippin Water plant to the South Tampa area, and to replace approximately 51,000 linear feet of 6-inch water main in the South Tampa and Westshore areas is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $20,000,000. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
