Rule no.: 65C-22.001 General Requirements
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 30, 2019, Pinellas County License Board for Children’s Centers & Family Child Care Homes received a petition for variance of Section 3.8.4(A) of the Child Care Facility Handbook, which is incorporated by reference in subsection 65C-22.001(6) Florida Administrative Code and make part of the Licensing Regulations Governing Pinellas County Children’s Centers VI.B.4. from KidsPark Oldsmar, assigned case No. 10-001V. Section 3.8.4(A) of the Child Care Facility Handbook incorporated in the Licensing Regulations Governing Pinellas County Children’s Centers VI.B.4 required that during the facility’s license year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care. Subsection 65C-22.001(6), F.A.C., states in pertinent part that child care programs must follow standards found in the “Child Care Facility Handbook”, October 2017, incorporated by reference and adopted in the Licensing Regulations Governing Pinellas County Children’s Centers.
