NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on June 21, 2006, the Florida Department of Transportation issued an order denying the Petition of Hillsborough Area Regional Transit, seeking a variance from the provisions of Rule 14-90.007(3)(a), F.A.C. The Petition was received by the Department on April 13, 2006. The Department published its notice of receipt of the Petition in the April 22, 2006 edition of the Florida Administrative Weekly. Paragraph 14-90.007(3)(a), F.A.C., regulates the minimum curbside mirror height requirements for Type I buses. The Department’s order, issued in DOT Case No. 06-032, denied the petition because it did not relate to Type I buses.
