FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
Daytona Beach Shores, Florida
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Daytona Beach Shores’ project involving upgrades to gravity collection system piping, force main piping, manholes, and lift stations, as well as the addition of a new 30-inch subaqueous force main crossing under the Halifax River to the Daytona Beach wastewater treatment plant is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $5,767,106. The project may qualify for a Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan comprised of federal or state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
